目前在细胞学研究中,大多采用根尖以及花蕾作材料进行染色体研究。但对一些珍贵材料则受到很大限制:一是去掉根尖后幼苗大多会降低甚至丧失生活能力,使珍贵材料难以保存。二是有些野生材料及远缘后代虽能发芽。但不能正常现蕾开花,因而采用花蕾进行研究受到限制。为了扩大细胞学研究的材料,笔者进行了棉花枝悄细胞染色体制片技术的探索,效果较好,其方法如下:
