One of the major tasks of Ellegamy’s Discrepancy Theory is to deconstruct philosophical discourse so that the sexual differences of women can be reflected in the language. In order to accomplish this task, she adopted a strategy that is both exploitative and critical to traditional psychoanalytic theory.
