The Central European Republic of Slovenia lies at the foot of the Alps, bordering Italy. After the country became independent in 1992, the capital was set in Ljubljana. The city is surrounded by mountains, and around 34 BC, the Romans saw the town of Edna as the center of its traffic arteries. More than six hundred years later, the city’s territory expanded to the Ljubljana River and the city’s reputation grew. In 1895 was destroyed by the earthquake, a city’s classical myth was suspended. In the eyes of the designer, Ljubljana is described in the book “Invisible City” by the famous Italian writer Italo Calvino
