在《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》的精神指导下,越来越多的独立学院开始成为改革的试点,其有利的激励与保障措施以及有针对性的政策调整,将刺激独立学院和企业协同培养人才的积极性,鼓励并引导校企之间形成协同培养应用型人才的良好机制。期待该改革的成功实施能够发挥示范效应,并从艺术设计专业扩展到其他专业,引导独立学院应用型本科院校通过校企协同培养出更多符合社会需求的应用型人才。
