补体是存在于正常人或动物新鲜血清中一组球蛋白,能被很多抗原抗体反应活化的酶系统。补体第三成分(简称C_3)。是补体系统中的主要成份。近年来,有人在补体与肿瘤的关系上做了大量的研究工作后认为,在补体系统反应中,C_3是起主要作用的,并强调在免疫粘附,促进吞噬细胞趋化和吞噬作用以及细胞毒或细胞溶解作用等都于C_3有关。
