本院自199年1月至1964年12月8年来共收治白喉670病例,现就临床材料分析于后。一、发病季节:汕头市白喉全年均有病例发生,惟发病多在冬季,占46.2％,春季(2-4月)21.4％,夏季(5-7月)11.4％,秋季(8-10月)21％。二、性别与年龄:性别男374人,女296人,男女比例约1.3:1;年龄最小42天,最大23岁,以1-6岁占78.6％最多。发病年龄见表1。
