长沙市中药一厂于1953年建厂,由当时工商界“药业同业公会“与绸布业“厚孚布头号”(经营绸布批发)集资合办,厂名“中新联合制药厂”,取其中药新制的意思。当时工人仅38人,租赁长沙市药主街和坡子街两处铺面总面积约500m~2厂内仅一个烤药柜,两条磨粉的石研子,10个熬膏灶,算是全部家当,生产、生活条件极差。产品也只有归脾丸、六味丸几个小蜜丸品种,并熬制少量龟、鹿、驴胶,当归膏。56年公私合营,受长沙市药材公司领导,将当时市内历史最久的一家药店“劳九芝堂”并入,厂名改为“劳九
Changsha City No. 1 Factory of Traditional Chinese Medicine was set up in 1953. It was jointly organized by the “Pharmaceutical Trade Association” of the industrial and commercial sector and the “Cheng Fu Bu No.1” (traditional silk cloth wholesale) of the silk industry. The name of the factory is “Zhongxin United Pharmaceutical Factory”. Take the meaning of the new medicine. The products are only Guipi Pills, Liuwei Pills and several Xiaomi Pills, and they are made from a small amount of turtles, deer, donkey gel, and Angelica Sinensis. In 56 years of public-private partnership, led by Changsha City Medicinal Materials Co., Ltd., it merged the oldest pharmacy “Lao Jiuzhitang” in the city and changed its name to “Labor 9”.
