In a variety of drug interactions, hypoglycemic agents account for the second place, and severe hypoglycemia can be life-threatening, it should be taken seriously. For this reason, the author in the clinical prescription to see the hypoglycemic drug methotrexate and other drug interactions are described for reference. Clinical Pharmacology of Methyliodourea Mebutamide (mellitus) exerts the hypoglycemic effect by directly stimulating islet β-cells and releasing insulin. At the same time, but also inhibit islet cells, reduce the secretion of glucagon (GLucagon), but also make blood sugar. Repeated medication can stimulate pancreatic β-cell proliferation. Experimental diabetic animals with complete resection of the pancreas have no hypoglycemic effect. Clinical efficacy also confirms that metoxicamide is effective only in patients who have not yet had complete loss of pancreatic function (at least retaining a normal 30%).
