广西玉米目前生产中主要推广应用的杂交种是正大619、迪卡007、迪卡008等品种。广西玉米生产条件恶劣,气候、土壤和环境条件复杂,形成了众多的农业生态类型,常年需要推广11~16个不同类型玉米杂交种才能满足各地玉米生产的需要。为了适应品种更新换代要求,满足市场对高产、优质、抗病、广适品种的需要,选育出适应我区种植的高产、优质、多抗玉米单交种,提高产量,以满足广西不同玉米生态栽培区域的需要,为广西的粮食增产和农民的增收提供品种和技术支撑,进一步促进广西杂交玉米生产的发展,广西万川种
