In 2007, Tajikistan introduced more than 300 million U.S. dollars of foreign direct investment and Russia, Cyprus and the United States became the major investors. Russia has the largest amount of investment, followed by Cyprus. The United States ranks third. Tajikistan ensured the growth of domestic production and trade and the improvement of people’s living by means of foreign investment.
