赵国才退伍返乡15年,为村民引育农作物新品种98种,推广面积5万亩,增加经济效益1750多万元,成为河南省正阳县一个小有名气的良种“土专家”。 在军营里磨练了5年的赵国才,在村子里也算是个见过世面的人。回到乡里后,他再不安于命运为他安排的“日出而作日落而息”的传统生活模式,不甘于看到家乡一代代人种着那些“混杂退化、广种薄收”的作物种子。赵国才深深懂得“粮食要高产,良种最关键”,没有优良品种就没有高效农业。他决心为村民引进农作物新品种,使村民靠种田致富。
Zhao returned to work after returning home for 15 years, bringing in 98 new varieties of crops for the villagers and promoting an area of 50,000 mu, increasing economic benefits by more than 17.5 million yuan and becoming a small famous “soil expert” in Zhengyang County, Henan Province. Zhao Guocai, who has been practicing for five years in the barracks, is considered a man who has seen the world in the village. Returning to the village, he was reluctant with the traditional life style of “sunsets and sunrises” for which he had arranged for his destiny. He was reluctant to see the seeds of “mixed degenerate and broad-leaved crops” planted for generations to come. Zhao Guocai deeply understand that “the grain should be high-yielding and the seed should be the most crucial”. There is no efficient agriculture without excellent varieties. He is determined to introduce new crop varieties to the villagers so that villagers can get rich by farming.
