对于外语学习者来说,写作能力是外语学习所要达到的目标之一。写作能力是指有效地使用文字表达思想的能力。而语篇的连接上,连接副词在篇章的连贯性和完整性上起着举足轻重的作用。但是连接副词的恰当使用对于中国学习者来说恰恰是致命的弱点。因此,本文采用语言学及语料库的研究方法,对大学非英语专业六级考试高分作文中连接副词的使用情况进行统计和分析,以此来探讨高分作文在连接副词使用上面的特点。结果发现:总体来说,连接副词的使用频率与写作质量之间有显著联系。因此,如何有效地指导学生合理使用连接副词以此来提高写作质量成为英语教师的教学重点。
For foreign language learners, writing ability is one of the goals to be achieved in foreign language learning. Writing ability is the ability to use words effectively to express ideas. The connection of texts, connective adverbs play a decisive role in the continuity and completeness of texts. However, the proper use of connective adverbs is a fatal weakness for Chinese learners. Therefore, this article uses the linguistics and corpus research methods to analyze and analyze the use of connection adverbs in the non-English majors’ sixth grade high essay composition, in order to explore the characteristics of the high score essay in the use of connective adverbs. The results showed that, overall, there was a significant relationship between the frequency of use of adverbs and the quality of writing. Therefore, how to effectively guide students to use connection adverbs in order to improve their writing quality has become the focus of English teachers.
