Shenfu Decoction is an important classic prescription for Chinese medicine “returning from the sun, relieving the sun” and “replenishing the temperature”. This article studied its effect on platelet aggregation and compared it with a dose of Danshen injection. The results showed that Shenfu injection had obvious anti-ADP-induced platelet aggregation (p<0.001), and that it began to show a strong effect after 15 minutes of inability to continue for more than 10 hours. The inhibitory rates for platelet aggregation were: 33.69% at 15 minutes, 33.75% at 3 minutes, and 37.33% at 60 minutes. Its effect was similar to that of Danshen injection at equal toxic doses, but it began to have a more effective effect.
