研究了聚合物网络稳定的铁电液晶体系。实验表明,当在聚合物网络单体聚合的过程中施加低频交变电场作用后,所形成的聚合物网络具有空间排列的一致性。在聚合物网络的作用下铁电液晶分子的排列及在外电场作用下的光学特性不同于传统的表面双稳铁电液晶。实验中观察到了一新的液晶分子排列织构——条纹织构,从体系自由能的角度对条纹织构做出了的理论解释。同时获得了可实现多极灰度的新颖的“V”字型电光特性曲线。
Studied the polymer network stable ferroelectric liquid crystal system. Experiments show that when the polymer network during the polymerization process of applying low-frequency alternating electric field, the polymer network formed by the spatial arrangement of the consistency. The arrangement of ferroelectric liquid crystal molecules and the optical properties under the action of external electric field are different from the traditional surface bi-stable ferroelectric liquid crystals under the action of polymer networks. In the experiment, we observed a new arrangement of liquid crystal molecules texture - stripe texture, made a theoretical interpretation of the stripe texture from the perspective of the system free energy. At the same time, a novel “V” type electro-optic characteristic curve can be achieved which can realize the multi-pole gray level.
