近百年来,中国现当代作家用白话写作和翻译了大量文学作品,中学语文教学界把这些文学作品统称为“现代文”。“现代文”早已成为中学语文教材的主要内容。很难想象,没有现代文的蓬勃兴起,文言文如何担当起数学、物理、化学、生物、信息技术等学科以及各种尖端科技设备严谨细致精密的表述任务。不待说,现代文的发展顺应了中国社会现代化的要求。正因为如此,现代文教学也可以被看做是现代中国社会进步在语文学科上的标志。
In the past hundred years, Chinese contemporary writers have written and translated a large number of literary works in vernacular. These Chinese literary works collectively refer to these literary works as “modern writing.” “Modern Text ” has long been the main content of secondary language teaching materials. It is hard to imagine that without the flourishing rise of modern literature, how can classical Chinese take on the task of describing the mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, and other sophisticated science and technology equipment? Needless to say, the development of modern Chinese conforms to the requirements of China’s social modernization. Because of this, modern Chinese teaching can also be seen as a symbol of the progress of modern Chinese society in the language.
