首先作为急性时相反应蛋白被发现的C-反应蛋白(C-reactive protein,CRP),后被证实在多数肿瘤患者的血清中呈高水平表达,CRP的浓度与肿瘤的侵袭性及患者的生存率有关,血清CRP的检测对恶性疾病的评估具有很重要的临床价值。并且,CRP对肿瘤细胞具有促进增殖和抑制凋亡的作用。因此,深入探讨CRP对肿瘤细胞的分子作用机制及细胞信号转导通路,寻找降低CRP的制剂,或许将为临床肿瘤的治疗开辟一片新天地。
