《苏联科学院通报》去年第三期刊载斯米尔诺夫(?)的一篇文章,探讨一部分由古火山作用形成的金属矿床的特征.作者认为,随着对古火山作用研究的深入,这一成因类型的矿床数目会有较大的增加.作者还提到,苏联科学院所属地质、地球物理、地球化学等科研机构,对于古火山、新火山的作用过程及其在火山岩建造与共生的黑色、有色、稀有、贵金属等矿物形成方面所起的作用,都在当前和长远的计划中规定进一步开展研究.现将该文主要内容摘译介绍如下.
