在生活中虽然有很多健忘的人，但像盖尔教授这么健忘的人，可能很少见哦！
Professor Gail is very forgetful（健忘的）. One Sundy morning， it's raining hard. Professor Gail goes to the railway station（火车站） to meet his mother. Before he leaves， his wife gives him a list of things（物品清单） for him to buy on the way（顺道）.
His wife doesn't wait a long time before Professor Gail comes back home with a box of food and other things. His wife asks， "Where is your mother？ Did she miss（错过） the train？"
"Oh！" he said， " She isn't on the list（在清单上）."
盖尔教授很健忘。一个星期天的早晨，雨下得很大。盖尔教授去火车站接他的妈妈。在他走之前，他的妻子交给他一个物品单子，叫他顺带把这些东西买回来。
他的妻子没等多久，盖尔教授就拿着一盒食品和其他东西回家了。他妻子问道：“你妈妈呢？她误火车了吗？”
“哦！” 他说：“她没在清单里。”
