栈道,是我国古代一种交通设施。栈道又名阁道、栈阁,是古代在深山峡谷的悬崖峭壁边缘开凿的人工通道,其中有许多木结构的桥梁。清代著名历史地理学家顾祖禹说:“缘坡岭行,有缺处,以木续之成道如桥然,所谓栈道也。”(《读史方舆纪要》卷五十六)栈道在我国主要分布在四川、陕西、云南、贵州、西藏、甘肃、安徽、山西、河南等省区,其中以四川、陕西两省分布最广、规模最大。栈道在我国交通史上占有重要地位。栈道的兴盛时期
