苏钢84m~31~#高炉,于1957年4月1日出铁,经过三十年奋斗拼搏,由单一的炼铁企业逐步发展成炼焦、烧结、炼铁、炼钢、开坯、轧材的小型联合企业,随着炼铁技术的进步和发展,高炉由一个84m~3发展为84~m3×3+94m~3×1,年产量由3万吨发展为22万吨规模炼铁企业,目前进入了冶金部颁布的特等炉水平。三十年总计生产铁279万吨,铸造生铁获省优产品。
