Due to the very strong and specific biological role of ionizing radiation, there is an urgent need to evaluate the radiation hazard problem in a realistic manner and to protect human beings as much as possible from the detrimental effects of ionizing radiation. Only if we take a step closer to understanding the nature of the changes that cause damage or even death to the cellular body and the mechanisms of action to change the factors that cause radiation damage, will it be possible to find effective ways of addressing these issues. The preventive effect of certain compounds was demonstrated in 1949 (Patt et al. 1949, Herve Bacq 1949), which greatly reduced the radiation damage in animals, opening up new fields of research. In recent years, various research approaches and research methods have been used to study the problems in this area in a very exhaustive manner, so that a great deal of sometimes contradictory facts have been accumulated and people have been denied
