Only company management can make designers avoid the risk of personal decision-making, which is the current lack of domestic designer brands. Located in the creative neighborhood of the Apple Community in Beijing, Alex Wang’s high-end clothing custom studio is decorated in neoclassical style with the walls of the entrance covered with actress’s photo of Alex Wang’s dress. 10 am, Wang Peiyi wearing a simple T-shirt with jeans, is focused on the laptop in front of customer orders. This 30-year-old designer has witnessed the history of Chinese designer brands from scratch, and he himself can be regarded as a concentrated history of the contemporary design.
