Atrial fibrillation is clinically the most common arrhythmia and difficult to cure. At present, everyone is concentrating their interest in new treatments that target the pathogenesis. Recent studies suggest that the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system is a very important endocrine system in the pathogenesis of atrial fibrillation. Therefore, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor antagonists have become a new drug to prevent atrial fibrillation. The role of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor antagonists in the treatment of atrial fibrillation is now discussed and a number of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor antagonists A clinical study of agents in high-risk atrial fibrillation populations (such as heart failure, hypertension, myocardial infarction, etc.).
