1995年7月31日,一场横贯桦甸市区的洪水,使这个位于吉林省东南部的山城受到人们的关注。时过两年,又一件事使桦甸再次受到人们的关注:1997年,桦甸市在省级卫生城候选城市中脱颖而出,夺得桂冠,城市管理工作受到了专家评审组的高度称赞。仅用两年时间,便在灾后的基础上取得如此辉煌的成绩,确实来之不易。所以,当为此付出了大量心血的桦甸市城管监察大队队长曲祯田走上领奖台的时候,他怎能不流下激动的眼泪。
On July 31, 1995, a flood across downtown Huadian brought the mountain town in the southeastern part of Jilin Province the focus of attention. Another two years later, Huadian once again received the attention of people: In 1997, Huadian City stood out among the candidate cities in the provincial health city and won the title. The city management work was highly praised by the expert review team. It took only two years to achieve such a brilliant result on the basis of the disaster and it was indeed hard won. Therefore, when paid a great deal of effort Huadian City Urban Management Team Captain Qu Zhentian onto the podium, how can he not shed tears of excitement.
