Base metal and precious metal ore and concentrate leaching continue to make progress in laboratory research and industrial applications. An increasing number of difficult-to-handle ores and concentrates that are not suitable for conventional methods have injected momentum into the new leaching method research. In many cases, both technically and economically, some new processes are required to replace the conventional ones (such as pyrometallurgy). This article briefly reviews some new leaching methods and then introduces in more detail three commercially available or near future possible leaching methods. Described in detail Mt.
