Huang Yuxue was the first Chinese female writer to receive accreditation in the mainstream American literature. His autobiographical novel Hua Ah Ah 5 has not only won the favor of American readers, but also Chinatown is proud of her success. The purpose of this paper is to explore the factors and significance of the success of the “Five Girls in China.”
