“八五”以来，江西棉花生产取得了突破性的发展，１９９１年第１次实现了自给有余，由原棉调入省到调出省的根本转变。主要是制定了各项鼓励政策，采取了有力措施和依靠科学技术的进步。随着市场形势的变化，对于今后棉花生产的发展应做到稳步发展、主攻单产、走“三高”农业新路子。
Since the “8th Five-Year Plan” period, cotton production in Jiangxi Province has made a breakthrough development. In 1991, for the first time, it realized the fundamental change of surpassing self-sufficiency and transferring cotton from the province to the province. Mainly formulated various incentive policies, took effective measures and relied on the progress of science and technology. With the changes in the market situation, steady development should be made for the future development of cotton production, focusing on the unit production and taking the new road of “three highs” agriculture.
