翟学军,44岁,国家半干旱农业工程技术研究中心副主任(实际主持工作、副厅级),出站博士后,研究员,我国棉花品质育种业的后起之秀,曾承担国家攻关、农业部重点、省重大攻关、省自然科学基金、省农科院等多种研究项目并取得显著成果,先后在国内外刊物上发表了40多篇论文。如此职级和成就,在省内同龄人中当属凤毛麟角。1955年,翟学军出生在邢台县一个普通的农村普通的农家,吃着窝窝头和红薯面,他读完小学中学,便同父辈那样躬身农田。那时,他怎么也不会想到自己还能重返校园。1976年,村里从“根红苗正”的青年中推荐
