莆仙戏是福建省的古老剧种之一,流行于莆田、仙游二县及闽中,闽南的兴化方言地区。莆仙戏表演古朴优雅,不少动作深受木偶戏影响,富有独特的艺术风格。传统剧目有5000多个,经过整理改编后演出的《团圆之后》、《春草闯堂》、《状元与乞丐》等传统剧目在全国享有盛誉。1998年仙游县鲤声剧团应台湾中华民俗艺术基金会的邀请赴台演出,为促进两岸文化交流和祖国统一做出了积极贡献。
Puxian opera is one of the ancient operas in Fujian Province, popular in Putian, Xianyou two counties and Minzhong, Minnan Xinghua dialect area. Puxian opera simple and elegant performance, many movements by puppet show, full of unique art style. Traditional repertoire of more than 5,000, after finishing the reorganization of the performance of “reunion”, “spring grass”, “champion and beggar” and other traditional repertoire reputation in the country. In 1998, Xianyou County Lianyin Opera Troupe performed at the invitation of Taiwan Chinese Folk Art Foundation, making a positive contribution to promoting cross-Strait cultural exchanges and reunification of the motherland.
