去年八月在兰州举行的第四届中国艺术节期间,我有幸观看了兰州市豫剧团演出的《日月图》和兰州市秦剧团演出的《唐太宗嫁女》,在座谈时,与会专家一致肯定这是两出基础不错的好戏,希望进一步加工后,将“图”送到北京,将“女”嫁到北京。我当即约请对这两台戏的编、导都相当熟悉的山西戏曲作家武承仁同志为我们刊物《戏曲艺术》撰写评论文章,以便及时向观众推荐。不巧老武回去后即因病住院,不能交稿,特地来信表示歉意。我想,也只好等待以后弥补了。
