在三千年未有之变局的大势影响下,晚清时期湖南社会激荡,人民的衣、食、住、行等物质生活领域出现了突飞猛进的演变,呈现出三大特征:一是物质生活的近代化起步滞后,明显晚于沿海地区,甚至晚于周边省际;二是受政局影响大,具有突变性;三是近代交通业的演变自主性强,担负着抵御外侮的重任,且对湖南社会的发展演变影响较大。厘清这一关键时期湖南物质生活的演变特征,对准确把握近代湖南的社会变迁规律具有重要意义。
Under the influence of the unconverted situation in three thousand years, the social revolution in Hunan in the late Qing dynasty evolved by leaps and bounds in the material life areas of the people such as clothing, food, shelter and transportation. It also lags behind the social responsibility of Hunan society Development and evolution have a greater impact. Clarifying the evolution of the material life in Hunan during this critical period is of great significance for accurately grasping the law of social changes in modern Hunan.
