白杨透翅蛾是我国三北地区防护林的主要害虫之一。该虫每年发生一代,成虫于6月中旬至7月上旬羽化。幼虫蛀入村干、枝条或树根取食,危害长达半年之久,被害枝条遇风雨易折断。过去当地主要用飞机喷洒有机磷杀虫剂控制其危害。但由于大量使用化学杀虫剂,不仅杀死了天敌,而且造成环境污染,破坏了林区的生态平衡。中国科学院上海昆虫研究所研制成功的含白杨透翅蛾性信息的反口橡皮诱芯,对雄蛾有特别强的引诱作用,装有这种仿生诱芯的菲洛康诱捕器,能大量诱杀雄蛾,降低下代虫口密度,从而达到减轻为害的目的。几年来
