Talent resources are the primary resources for scientific development. Facing the new situation of the reform and development of medical and health undertaking in our country, the importance of training high-quality health management personnel has become increasingly prominent. Fujian Medical University is the cradle of health professionals in the west bank of the Taiwan Strait. In order to meet the needs of the development of Fujian Province’s health undertakings, Fujian Medical University started the construction of health management disciplines in 1999 and established the Department of Health Management and Social Medicine at the School of Public Health.
