通过阅读著名作家的作品,及在词源学理论的帮助下,本文对若干组同义词进行了对比研究。在研究的基础上,本文旨在揭示外来语对英语同义词发展及演变的影响。与此同时,本文还力图让英语学习者从阅读名家作品这一独特视角对英语词汇获得更深的理解,从而使他们能对相应的词汇进行辨析,了解它们之间的细微差别,并在特定的语境中能合理的运用这些词汇。
By reading the works of famous writers, and with the help of etymological theories, this thesis makes a comparative study of several groups of synonyms. Based on the research, this article aims to reveal the influence of foreign words on the development and evolution of English synonyms. At the same time, this article tries to make English learners gain a deeper understanding of English vocabulary from the unique perspective of reading famous works so that they can discriminate the corresponding words, understand the subtle differences between them, The context can use these words reasonably.
