干细胞(Stem cells)是一类具有自我更新和多向分化潜能的特殊细胞。在特定的条件下,干细胞可以增殖并分化为多种类型的细胞,但干细胞的增殖、分化行为高度依赖于其所处的生长小生态环境,即干细胞niche。干细胞与其niche之间通过相互的“时空对话”(Spatiotemporal dialog)实现自我更新和分化的平衡调控。本文对几种不同类型的niche及其与干细胞的相互关系做一简要介绍。
Stem cells are a group of special cells that have the potential for self-renewal and multidirectional differentiation. Under certain conditions, stem cells can proliferate and differentiate into many types of cells. However, the proliferation and differentiation of stem cells are highly dependent on the growth and niche environment in which stem cells are niche. Stem cells and their niche through the mutual “Spatiotemporal dialog ” (Spatiotemporal dialog) to achieve self-renewal and differentiation balance control. This article gives a brief overview of several different types of niche and their interactions with stem cells.
