上赛季,火箭队在经历了几乎毁灭性的打击之后,却打出了让人尊敬的比赛、最终取得了第九名的成绩。显然,火箭队已经成熟了起来,在整个休赛期他们虽然没有大动作,但却都很有针对性。在每个位置都安排了“备份”之后,如今的火箭队已经不再惧怕任何伤病。从阵容上看,火箭队已经拥有了夺取总冠军的实力,进入季后赛对于他们来说只是一个底线,而他们的上线则不可预测。火箭队新赛季的口号是“红色崛起”(Red Rising),随着姚明的回归,火箭队的球迷又回到了可以无限幻想的年代。
