矽嘎岩型白鎢礦床在中南区出現較多,其中以瑤崗仙区規模較大。該地区矽嘎岩型白鎢礦床为徐克勤教授于1947年調查該区黑鎢石英脈型礦床时發現,为該类型礦床在我國首次的發現。以后徐克勤教授又先后于1948年及1956年兩次赴該区調查研究,並著有詳論該类型礦床及黑鎢和白鎢礦床成因关系的論著(註一)發表。1954年至1958年間湖南長沙勘探公司206地質勘探隊在該区对黑鎢石英脈礦床及矽嘎岩型白鎢礦床進
SiGa type scheelite deposits appear more in Zhongnan district, of which Yaozhanxian district is larger in scale. In the area of the Si-Ga-type scheelite deposit, Professor Xu Keqin’s discovery of the tungsten-tungsten vein type deposit in the area in 1947 revealed the first discovery of this type of deposit in our country.
