南水北调东线工程地跨江苏、山东、河北、天津四个省市。在山东省呈“T”字形,分为南北干线和东西干线两部分。南北主干渠南起枣庄市台儿庄区,北至德州市武城县,途经枣庄、济宁、泰安、聊城、德州等地市,全长487余公里。东西主干渠西起泰安市东平县的东平湖,东到滨州市的博兴县,在泰安东平湖与南北线相连接,途经泰安、济南、淄博、滨州、潍坊等地市,全长208公里。此外,与东线相连接的山东省胶东调水工程(至青岛、烟台、威海)渠线400余公里。南水北调东线工程在山东段干渠总长度为1192公里。工程建设分为韩庄运河段、南四湖段、南四湖至东平湖段、东平湖段、穿黄段、鲁北输水段、济平干渠段、胶东输水干线西段等8个工程段;另有武城大屯水库、章丘东湖水库、寿光双王城水库等3个库区。

Eastern Route of South-to-North Water Diversion Project The total length of main channel in Shandong section is 1192 km. Construction is divided into Hanzhuang canal section, Nansihu section, Nansihu to Dongpinghu section, Dongpinghu section, wearing yellow section, Lubei water conveyance section, Jiping main canal section, and the east section of Jiaodong water conveyance Engineering section; another Wucheng Datun Reservoir, Zhangqiu East Lake Reservoir, Shouguang Shuangwangcheng reservoir 3 reservoir.
