中国农业科学院兰州兽医研究所是我国著名的兽医科研机构。创建于1957年。座落在兰州市黄河北岸徐家坪,占地24hm~2。交通便利,环境优美.适于进行科研活动。 本所设有病毒病、寄生虫病、传染病三大研究室和农业部重点实验室,以及情报室、中心仪器室和实验动物场。各室均有实验大楼和配套的实验动物舍,科研及其辅助用房12800m~2;中心仪器室拥有电子显微镜、DNA合成仪、显微注射仪、高效液相色谱仪、冻干机、超速离心机等精密仪器设备,图书情报资料室藏有29499册中、外文专业书刊和文献资料。1993年又新增添了全国唯一的畜牧和兽医专业情报资料微机光盘检索系统软盘。
