长虹是绵阳人的骄傲,它从一个生产机载雷达的军工企业,成功地转向电子工业,成为中国最大的彩电生产基地,世界第四。长虹“以产业报国,以民族昌盛为己任”的口号着实鼓舞了一大批中国人。它把生产提高到爱国主义的层面,扬起了“民族工业”的旗帜,也亮出了民族工业的强硬底牌。很多人知道绵阳是从知道四川长虹开始的,外地人说到绵阳也常常是从长虹开始说起,长虹也成为记者在绵阳采访的第一站。
Changhong is the pride of Mianyang people. It successfully turned to the electronics industry from a military enterprise that produces airborne radar and became the fourth largest TV production base in China. Changhong's slogan of “serve the country by industry and make the nation prosperous” really encouraged a large number of Chinese people. It has raised production to the level of patriotism, raised the banner of “national industry” and also showed the hard-core card of national industry. Many people know that Mianyang started from knowing Changhong in Sichuan. Outsiders said Mianyang often started talking about Changhong, and Changhong also became the first stop for reporters in Mianyang.
