Statistical information is the main body of China’s social, economic and scientific information. It is an important basis for the country’s macro-management and decision-making. It is a basic national information resource. Statistical informationization is an important part of national economy informationization. Shanghai Statistical Information Engineering is one of the basic and key projects of Shanghai Information Engineering. Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Statistics Network Development Accelerates Shanghai’s Statistical Modernization Process, Fully Achieves Modernization of Statistical Information Processing and Management, and Further Enhances the Scientificness, Accuracy, Timeliness, Comprehensiveness and Convenience of Statistical Information, It is of great importance to promote the international exchange of statistical information so as to realize the rapid social support of macroeconomic policy-making and realize the whole society’s sharing of statistical information. With the care and support of the National Bureau of Statistics and the Shanghai Municipal Government, the network of Shanghai Bureau of Statistics has achieved rapid development through unremitting efforts.
