陕西彬县大佛寺石窟开凿于唐高祖武德元年,是秦王李世民为悼念平定薛举之战而阵亡的将士所建。大佛洞、千佛洞、罗汉洞是其中的精华所在,都是初唐时期开凿,历经盛中晚唐完成的。大佛寺石窟中保存的历代碑刻题记颇多。在大佛洞护楼东侧碑廊中立有清光绪元年(公元1875年)《重修大佛寺碑记》碑一通,为圆首碑,石质为石灰岩,高1.86、宽0.62、厚0.15米。碑首有减地线刻的云、龙纹图案,中部方额
Dabo Buddhist Temple in Binxian County, Shaanxi Province Grottoes were carved in the first year of Emperor Tudzu in the Tang Dynasty. They were built by the soldiers who were killed by Qin Shili Li Shimin in memory of the war to calm down Xue Ju.
