The important breakthrough of education lies in the application of the theory of emotional education. It emphasizes the students’ cognition of emotion in the process of learning, and effectively improves the teaching effect by controlling and guiding the emotion. The article analyzes the application of the theory of emotional education in English teaching. At the same time, it puts forward the application tactics on the teaching of emotion so as to provide guarantee for the effective development of primary English teaching.
