北京市房山区房山街道南街村,地处房山城繁华地段,党支部从这一得天独厚的地理优势出发,一举创建了永安农副产品批发市场和顺发商场。永安农副产品批发市场占地5万平方米,吸引了来自十几个省市的4800户客商,经营2000多种商品,年成交额1亿元! 顺发商场3200平方米,有400多个柜台,经营服装、鞋帽、家电和小百货等,年营业额3000万元。 1997年,“永安”、“顺发”上交集体达300多万元,向国家缴纳税费180万元。南街村荣获房山区委、区政府授予的“亿元村”和“精神文明单位”等光荣称号。
