第一次读到《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》,记得是在重庆;那时,抗日战争刚刚胜利,国民党许多“劫收”大员正飞遍全国,而我(当然还有不少和我同样处境的文人),却被钉住在这个山城,无法离开,一因筹措不到路费,二因有了钱也买不到票(公路车票、船票)。既然不能走,那就安心多住一、二年弄点笔墨吧,在这样的时候,读到了“讲话”。大概那时印数不多,一本书传阅多人,传到我的手里,这本土纸印的小册子已经半烂,有些字句
