中学英语词汇教学是外语教学中非常重要的环节。在高中新课程标准中,要求学生能根据交际话题、场合和人际关系等相关因素选择较为适当的词语进行交流或表达,也就是运用词汇完成交际的能力。因此英语教师在词汇教学中不能只是单纯地操练词汇的语音、语法和句法,还应该特别注重词汇教学中注入文化教学。也就是说,不但讲解词汇的概念意义,而且还传授词汇的文化内涵意义,从而达到新课标关于“增强学生在目标语文化环境下的运用词汇正确得体的跨交际能力”的要求。
Middle school English vocabulary teaching is a very important part in foreign language teaching. In the new high school curriculum standard, students are required to choose the more appropriate words to communicate or express according to the related topics such as communication topics, occasions and interpersonal relationships, that is, the ability to use words to complete communication. Therefore, English teachers in vocabulary teaching can not simply practice vocabulary, grammar and syntax, but also should pay special attention to the teaching of vocabulary into the culture. In other words, not only the concept of vocabulary is explained, but also the connotation of the cultural connotation of the vocabulary is taught so as to meet the requirements of the New Curriculum Standards on “enhancing students’ cross-communicative competence in using correct vocabulary in a target culture environment”.
