初中英语的教学目的是使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识,培养学生在交际中初步运用英语的能力。为了达到这一目的,就要改变教学中以教师为中心,偏重语法结构的分析、讲解,及机械的句型操练的教学模式。这种教学模式既违背了素质教育的“以学生为主体”的原则,又背离了英语教学的基本规律。因此,教师要以学生为中心,加强训练指导,加大学生自学的活动量,从而发挥其“主体”作用。特别是在以下两方面要加强口语训练。
The purpose of junior high school English teaching is to enable students to master a certain amount of basic knowledge of English and develop their ability to use English in communication. In order to achieve this goal, we should change the instructional model of teacher-centered teaching, emphasizing the analysis and explanation of grammatical structure and mechanical sentence patterning. This teaching mode not only violates the principle of “student-centered” of quality education, but also deviates from the basic rules of English teaching. Therefore, teachers should take students as the center, strengthen the guidance of training and increase the amount of self-learning activity of the students, so as to play their role of “subject”. In particular, oral training should be strengthened in the following two aspects.
