3G牌照发放拉开了中国3G发展的大幕;2009年,虽然3G商用刚刚起步,但竞争的硝烟已四处弥漫,且这种态势在未来几年仍将持续;事实上,中国的3G运营仍在探索中,即使在国外发达国家,3G发展也基本处于负盈利状态;3G的魅力在于层出不穷的新业务,应用是3G发展的未来,故3G发展必须依托应用,以新的商业模式、新的营销手段创造新的价值。
