(一) 我们学校在南京市郊区,学生绝大部分是农民子弟。上学期(一九五四年下半年)开学以後,上级指示我们:小学教育是人民的基础教育,小学校应当为国家在过渡时期的总任务服务。我们农村小学怎样来体现这个要求呢?我逐步地认识到:首先教师要了解农村,熟悉农村,教学必须联系农村实际;要使我们培养出来的学生除了一部分升入中学以外;绝大部分都能自觉地回到农村;促进农业社会主义改造事业的进展。事实上农村是非常需要高小毕业生的;乡村干部在和我们
