After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the people’s army led by the Chinese Communist Party has gained people’s hearts. In the ensuing liberation war, our People’s Liberation Army was a mighty force that swept the KMT army on the battlefield in the Central Plains. Among the Kuomintang troops fighting the Communists, there are a number of Kuomintang generals who love peace and are unwilling to engage in civil wars. They have been overthrown and lead their armed forces to defeat the people’s army. One of them is the KMT “Capital Guardian”. The capital guardian was once a force that was trusted by Chiang Kai-shek and was often called “Guolin army” by the top KMT. This soldier, guarding Chiang Kai-shek’s personal safety, was scrutinized strictly by the Kuomintang troops.
